Last watercolors update of 2021!

  Dearest Birds and Other Flying Things! We're headed into the Holiday Season, and I want to share with you all that is brewing in store! This means a couple of things for  a Large Aviary . 1930s watercolors First things first: they're back! They will be coming to shop this  Saturday, 6. November, at 7 pm CET/1 pm EDT/12 pm CT  --as always, please check your time zone conversion in advance.  Here come the changes!  With this update, we will have to say goodbye to one of the favorite colours (but aren't they all equally favorite?), one called Mist. This is the last chance to get it, with a purchase of the full set!  Sadly, this is the fate of all the paints: I only have limited quantities of them all, after all, and some come in greater numbers than others. But, I want to make them last longer!  With the way they were distributed thus far, and how some were coming to an end, there was starting to be an overlap in colou...

1930s Watercolors

As I promised, they're back! They will be coming to shop this Saturday, 9. October, at 7 pm CET/1 pm EDT/12 pm CT --please check your time zone conversion in advance! They will come in sets of 9, 12 and 20 colours. Please note that this update will function as a preorder: you purchase now and I'll ship before the end of the month.

There will be limited quantities of the sets, but as always, if you don't manage to snag one at this time, don't worry! There will be many more opportunities to get a set!

Any changes?

Yes. As you know, I only have limited quantities of these paints so as time goes on, we will be saying goodbye to those colours that are lesser in numbers. Earlier this year, we had to say goodbye to the original yellow paint which I then remade by hand. This has lengthened your orders' processing times, though, and I thought, you know what? I'd rather get your paints to you sooner rather than later. So while there won't be a yellow color in any of the sets, you'll be getting them faster which --with the approaching Holiday season --I think is a good compromise.

Don't forget to set your timers for this Saturday!



Watercolor sketchbooks

It's been a while since I was able to make new sketchbooks but I'm slowly getting into the swing of things again. You can expect an update with pocket sized sketchbooks soon, with covers made using original vintage illustrations. Later in the month, I will have an update of the larger sized vintage cover sketchbooks. I will share the exact dates on instagram and tiktok, so make sure you're following me there!

Anything else?

Again, I just want to say thanks to all of you who subscribed and to wish you a pleasant stay in the aviary. We have enough space for everybody, so pick your spot and enjoy yourselves! <3
